Lauren and I have been memorizing bible verses. The other night at dinner I asked Lauren if she wanted to tell Daddy the verse we had been working on and she replied with an enthusiastic, "YES!". So this is how that went:
Me: But seek....
Lauren: FIRST!
Me: His....
Lauren: KINDGOM AND RIGHTEOUSNESS!
Me: And...
Lauren: All these things will be added to YOU!
Me: And where is that from?
Lauren (very matter-of-factly): Jesus
I was expecting her to say Matthew 6:33, but I think maybe her answer was more correct after all :).
